Artist's Comments

The long-awaited (and long-planned) recolor of my first deviation, Bloody Sunday. Possibly my favorite lineart I've ever hammered out, and the first deviation I was ever commented on (by an artist who blows my skill to pieces).

This was supposed to go towards an auction for Hurricane Relief, but since I'm not in the National Art Honor Society, the head of the Art Department said I couldn't donate it. Oh well. It gave me a chance to upload it early.

My dad mentioned that it looked kind of morbid, but I see the sun rising in the picture, with the darkness kinda fading out towards the edges. I've also been told that the background looks green by one person, but it looked fine to everyone else. I honestly think of this as my best work, so I'm extremely proud of it. It was made with good intentions in mind, and that probably had something to do with it.

Tools: .7 mechanical pencil, G-Pen, Black Ink, Photoshop 7

Holy crap, that's not fair!!! It's such a great artwork, it would've gotten lotsa money for the Hurricane Relief!!!! :\ what a big fat meanie. Meanie meanie weenie. Anyway, I still loves it. Keep up the awesome work. ^^

Where is the head of the Art Department?!
I'm going to knock some sense into him and the system in general, because it's a great piece of art!!!!
If it's not too late, try auctioning it off somewhere else.
